I love this one Stephen! It really captivated me, and for such a brief piece, I spent a surprising amount of time with it. It’s tight as a drum, but it speaks volumes. It was so clever, I found myself looking up alternate, more obscure definitions for the words “tonic” and “jelly” and being pleasantly surprised. And above all, “Deus otiosus; Second-hand gnosis”? That is one cleverly-crafted couplet, my friend. Truly awesome. Bravo, sir!
